The Northern Territory Emergency Service (NTES) invites the community to show their support by wearing orange to honour their volunteers across the Territory as part of National Wear Orange Wednesday on 23 May.

Territorians can also show thanks by posting their images to Facebook adding #thankyouses and by further adding #WOWNTES to enter their competition for the best dressed individual, office/business and classroom.

Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW) is a national annual event held to thank the volunteers of the Northern Territory and State Emergency Services across Australia.

Our volunteers devote an inspiring amount of countless hours to the development of their skills and training to effectively respond to assist the community of the Northern Territory during disasters, cyclones, floods, extreme weather conditions and rescues.
