Fraud Squad Arrest - Darwin City

Major Fraud Squad Detectives have arrested a 45 year-old man in Darwin today.
Detective Sergeant Jason Blake said the man had recently moved to Darwin and had allegedly attempted to use false identity documents in order to obtain benefits from local businesses and a Government Department.
“Members of the public contacted Police after identifying the false documents and we wish to thank them for their vigilance.”
The man is facing charges of Attempt Criminal Deception and Utter Forged Documents.
Investigations are continuing.
