Assault - Public Assistance Sought - Parap

Police are seeking public assistance in relation to an assault that occurred in Parap in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Detective Senior Constable Andrew Nicholson said a 32-year-old woman was at a shopping village in Parap when she was assaulted by an unknown man shortly after midnight.

“The offender is described as Aboriginal appearance, in his early 20’s, skinny build, approximately 175cm tall, with black short curly hair. He was shirtless, wearing dark coloured shorts and a peaked cap.

“In this instance the woman was able to run away from her alleged assailant without any physical harm.

“Police urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone who may have any information to contact 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
