Call for Witnesses – Deprivation of Liberty – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following an incident in Alice Springs on Sunday 4 December.

Senior Constable First Class Janice Kershaw said the incident occurred between 9:20am and 9:40am at a service station on Bagot Street.

“A 21-year-old man was seen acting erratically before he approached a 32-year-old woman in a black SUV and forced himself into the vehicle,” she said.

“There was a seven-year-old child in the car with her at the time of the incident.

“The male is described as approximately 193cm tall, solid build with short dark hair and of Indigenous appearance. He was wearing a maroon shirt.”
