A Police Officer was conducting POSI duties out the front of a Licensed premises on Eastside when he observed a man behaving in a disorderly manner on Friday evening.

The Officer was in the process of arresting the man when a woman attempted to hinder police. During the arrest the Officer received scratches to his arm that required medical treatment.

“Police are constantly working to make our community safer for everyone, unfortunately, like in this case they are subjected to being attacked during their efforts.”
