As Commissioner of Police and CEO of the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services, I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you to our website.
The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services is referred to as a Tri-Service. The Tri-Service is responsible for the protection of life and property and the provision of disaster and emergency management to widely dispersed communities throughout the 1.35 million square km of the Northern Territory.
Members of the Tri-Service work in diverse locations that extend from the northern reaches of the Tiwi Islands to the southern desert communities. Members are stationed to the west as far as Wadeye, east to Avon Downs and south to Kulgera.
Our non-sworn staff members provide valuable professional corporate services to the organisation and our many fire and emergency service volunteers support our permanent workforce.
We pride ourselves on our reputation as a transparent, accountable and high-performing organisation and the quality of the services we provide to the community.
This new website is designed to tell you more about the Tri-Service. I hope it will be useful to potential recruits, as well as to members of the community interested in our work and the services we provide.
Please enjoy your browsing.
