 The dedication and outstanding service of NT Fire and Rescue Service members and staff is regularly recognised through the year by the presentation of a range of awards and medals. These include the National Medal, for distinguished service and various years of service, clasps and bars The Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service Medal (NTFRSM) for distinguished service and various years’ service and the Australian Fire Service Medal (AFSM) for service to the Fire Industry.
Both the AFSM and the National Medal are medals issued by the Commonwealth and the NTFRSM is a Police, Fire and Emergency Service Medal presented by the Chief Executive Officer.
