Crime Series Unlawful Entries Gunbalunya

A 26-year-old man remains in custody after a crime series that resulted in a number of attempted break-ins and actual unlawful entries in the community of Gunbalunya.

In the early hours of Thursday morning the alleged offender attempted to enter some dwellings, and was successful in gaining entry to other buildings, including the Police Station.

At one address, he helped himself to a box of All Bran cereal.  The male was followed by the occupant of that address and was filmed entering the Gunbalunya Police Station, where he allegedly stole a tin of boot polish, a bottle of spirits and even a police traffic vest. 

The local man has been charged with a number of offences including criminal damage, aggravated enter a building with intent to commit an offence, unlawfully damage property and stealing.

The male has been remanded in custody to appear before court at a later date.
