Police are investigating the theft of an aluminium custom made fishing boat, stolen from the MKT Airfield in Noonamah.

Detective Sergeant Matt Akers said the 27 foot lime green boat, described as a specialty marine hull, was stolen some time between 18 and 24 October.

“The boat was last sighted near an aircraft hangar, secured by a tow ball lock,” Detective Sergeant Akers said.

“The vessel has an Evinrude 300hp E-Tec outboard enginge and was on an unregistered, homemade trailer.

“I urge anyone who may have seen the vessel in the last week, or who may know of its whereabouts, to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
