Police are calling for witnesses to come forward who may have seen a vehicle travelling between Alice Springs and Hermannsburg, in the hours leading up to a triple fatal crash.
Three people were killed and two taken to hospital, after Officers came across the rolled vehicle about 2030 last Saturday night.
“Police attempted to stop the car about 45 kilometres east of Hermannsburg, however the driver accelerated away. Soon after, the vehicle was found crashed.” Said Detective Sergeant Glenn Leafe.
“Police would like to speak to anyone who may have been travelling along Larapinta Drive west of Alice Springs, and noticed a white-coloured VT Holden Commodore sedan between 1630 and 2030, Saturday the 22nd of December.”
