Two Arrested for Unlawful Entries - Parap

Police

Two men are to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court today in relation to unlawful entries in Parap and Fannie Bay.

Senior Sergeant Rob De Vos said the two men, aged 18 and 27, allegedly unlawfully entered a licensed premise on Parap Road at around 11:30 Monday night.

“The Duty Manager was still at the establishment and gave chase when he heard a noise and witnessed a person walking through a rear door,” Senior Sergeant De Vos said.

“Police attended and reviewed the CCTV footage. The alleged offenders were located a short time later in close proximity to the licensed premises. After further investigations, it was established they had both allegedly been involved in another unlawful entry at a home on Crush Street in Fannie Bay on Tuesday.

“It appears the two entered the yard and stole a quantity of alcohol from an outdoor fridge prior to fleeing the area.”

Both men were charged with aggravated unlawful enter a dwelling, stealing (x2), trespass enclosed premises (x2).
