Man Arrested for Numerous Offences – Darwin

A 26-year-old man will appear in court today, following a crime spree last week.

Sergeant Kaye Pemberton from the Casuarina Tactical Team said the man had allegedly been involved in a number of stealing incidents in Palmerston and Humpty Doo.

“On 4 February it is alleged the man stole a Holden Commodore from a residence in Woodroffe,” Sergeant Pemberton said.

“Two days later, it is alleged the man stole a quantity of alcohol from a bottle shop in Humpty Doo.

“Operation Trident members located and arrested the man at a residence in Berry Springs late Saturday night.”

The man, also wanted in relation to four outstanding arrest warrants, was charged with:

  • Aggravated enter a dwelling with intent to commit and offence
  • Stealing (x4)
  • Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle
  • Damage to property
  • Possess plates calculated to deceive.
