A Northern Territory Police Officer has been arrested in relation to an alleged sexual assault.

“The 30-year-old man was taken into custody today and charged with one count of sexual intercourse with a child.” Said Commander Richard Bryson from the Crime and Specialist Support Command.

“He’s been refused bail and is set to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court tomorrow.”
