Northern Territory Police are responding to a report of a single vehicle rollover about 4 kilometres south of Larrimah.

Central Commander Michael Hebb said one male occupant is confirmed as deceased.

“Enquiries are underway into the circumstances that led to the crash,” Commander Hebb said.

“The loss of life through road crashes is utterly devastating at any time. But, it is even more tragic when considering the pain that will be experienced by a family so close to Christmas.” 

The road toll now sits at 48 compared to 30 at the same time last year.
