Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a firearm was discharged during an alleged burglary yesterday in Leanyer.

Around 10.45am, 2 males and a female have allegedly unlawfully entered a residence in Leanyer, armed with a rifle. 

The property was occupied by 3 residents at the time of the burglary.

One of the male offenders discharged a firearm within the residence after allegedly demanding the occupants to hand over any drugs and money they had in their possession.  The offenders departed empty handed.

No injuries were reported. 

General duties officers attended, declared a crime scene and obtained initial victim statements from the occupants.
