Northern Territory police are calling for witnesses after an aggravated robbery occurred in Palmerston this morning.

Around 11:30am, police received reports of a 60-year-old woman being approached by a man allegedly holding an edged weapon and demanding money. The incident occurred in a Palmerston shopping centre carpark on Temple Terrace, Palmerston City.

The offender stole the victim’s wallet and fled the scene.

Northern territory Police are investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information to make contact on 131 444.
