Charges - Serious harm - Dundee Beach

Northern Territory Police have charged a man after a serious harm incident at Dundee Beach earlier this month.

On 10 February 2024, Northern Territory Police Road Safety Division members responded to a report that a man attempted to run over a 42-year-old female with his ATV, in an alleged neighbour dispute at Myrmidon Circuit, Dundee Beach.

As a result of the incident, the victim was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital and treated for her injuries.

Investigations commenced and yesterday, Road Safety Division members with the assistance of the  Humpty Doo Police Station frontline members attended an address at Dundee Beach and arrested a 44-year-old man.

He has since been charged with Aggravated assault and Reckless endanger - Serious harm.

In addition, a number of firearms were seized from the location which formulates a separate ongoing investigation.

He was bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on 12 March 2024.
