UPDATE #2 - Arrest – Aggravated robbery – Bellamack

Northern Territory Police have arrested a second man in relation to the aggravated robbery in Bellamack yesterday.

Around 7am this morning, detectives from Serious Crime arrested a 30-year-old man at a residence in Karama without incident. He is expected to be charged with multiple offences in relationship to the Bellamack offending later this evening.

Detectives are continuing to investigate recent firearm incidents that occurred in the Darwin CBD, Fannie Bay and Leanyer.  

A 34-year-old man was arrested yesterday in relation to the Bellamack offending and remains in custody assisting police with enquiries. The firearm allegedly used in the offending has since been seized by police.

Detectives from Serious Crime are continuing to investigate all incidents and continue to urge anyone with information to make contact on 131 444.
