A 35-year-old male has been summonsed to appear in court to face drugs charges after members conducted a baggage search yesterday.
Members of the Drug Enforcement Section and the Dog Operations Unit were in attendance at the Darwin Airport conducting drug searches on luggage travelling to Maningrida.
A Drug Detector Dog reacted positively to baggage and members subsequently located 41.33 grams of cannabis in two separate containers.
The 35-year-old male was taken into police custody and later released, to be summonsed to appear in the Maningrida Court at a later date.
