Two youths will appear in the Alice Springs Youth Justice Court in relation to unlawful entries in Gillen.

Members of the Property Crime Reduction Unit received reports of unlawful entries at homes in Van Senden Avenue, Plowman Street and Crann Street last week. Offenders unlawfully entered the homes and stole laptops, mobile phones and jewellery. Police investigations led to the arrest of a 17-year-old male yesterday and he has been charged with:

Unlawful Entry
Stealing
Unlawfully damage property

He has been bailed to appear in the Alice Springs Youth Justice Court on December 22.

Police have recovered some of the stolen items.

A 15-year-old boy will also be summonsed in relation to the unlawful entries. Police investigations are continuing.
