Four people were arrested after being caught drink driving in Alice Springs overnight.
The highest reading was that of a 38-year-old man who was caught driving his Holden Commodore along Sadadeen Road just after 2am with a blood alcohol reading of .181 per cent. He was also found to be a disqualified driver. He has been charged with high range drink driving and driving whilst disqualified.
Police also arrested a 28-year-old man for drink driving after he was caught driving a Toyota Landcruiser along Bradshaw Drive just before 4am with a blood alcohol level of .154 per cent.
He has been charged with unlicensed driving and high range drink driving.
A 24-year-old man who was caught driving a Ford Falcon sedan west along Gregory Terrace just before 2am this morning was found to have a blood alcohol level of .149 percent.
He was charged with medium range drink driving. All three have been bailed to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court on September 7.
A 31-year-old woman will be summonsed after she was found to be an unlicensed driver with a blood alcohol level of .03 per cent. She was arrested in Mahomed Street just before 4pm yesterday.
