NT Police have charged a further two people in connection with drug offences at Fly Creek in Darwin's rural areas.
Two women, aged 43 and 45, were yesterday charged with the following offences:
supply precursor knowing it is intended to be used in the manufacture of dangerous drugs;
possessing precursors; and
obtaining precursors by deception.
Members for the Drug Enforcement Section allege both women were part of an organised network responsible for purchasing over 110 boxes of pseudoephedrine-based pharmaceuticals and supplying them to an associate to manufacture the illicit drug methylamphetamine.
The women were both bailed and will appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on 3 August.
Five people have now been charged as part of 'Operation Beckton'.
A 49-year-old man has been charged in relation to drug and stolen goods offences - he has been bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on 28 July.
A 41-year-old man remains in police custody after facing 41 drug and firearms charges. His 27-year-old partner also remains in police custody after she was arrested and charged in relation to the same incident.
