At about 8:45 this morning Police were alerted to an unlawful entry and stealing incident on Tivendale Road in Berrimah.

Approximately $21, 000 in cash appears to have been stolen from the premises between 3:30pm yesterday and 7:15 this morning. Police believe the offender(s) unlawfully entered a van parked at the premises and removed approximately 60 bags of cash; mostly in coins and some notes from a safe attached to the vehicle.

Members from Commanders Tactical Team and Forensics attended and examined the scene and are also assessing CCTV footage from the business.

Police urge any one who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who may have further information in relation to the incident to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
