Arrests for unlawful entry – Alice Springs - 4691197

Five people were arrested in relation to an unlawful entry and stealing at an Alice Springs bar overnight.

Police received a report just before 6am that the Rock Bar in Todd Street had been unlawfully entered and alarms activated. When police arrived they found a window had been smashed to gain entry and a quantity of alcohol stolen. Five people were arrested in the CBD after police obtained descriptions of the offenders from witnesses. The alleged offenders were two males aged 24 and 13 and three females aged 21, 24 and 26.

They are expected to be interviewed later today.

The incident occurred approximately four hours after the bar was unlawfully entered earlier in the night. In that incident thieves made of with a quantity of alcohol after smashing a front window to gain entry. The window was repaired and then smashed again in the second unlawful entry.
