The body of a man who was found deceased near Erldunda last month has been identified.

Peter Worthington, 71, was reported missing on July 17 after his car and caravan were found abandoned 10 kilometres  south of Erldunda. A body was subsequently found 3.7 kilometres from the vehicle and DNA testing was undertaken to identify the remains.

DNA results show the body to be that of the missing man.
