Police and fire crews were called to a grass fire which completely destroyed a caravan on a property at Howard Springs in the early hours of this morning.

Police received a report just after 1.30am today  of a fire at a Girraween Road property. It appears that what was initially a grass fire engulfed and completely destroyed an unoccupied caravan on the property before being brought under control by firefighters.

Police and fire officers are investigating the cause of the blaze.
