Palmerston Police arrested three youths early this morning after they were caught on CCTV breaking into a Palmerston café.

A Police CCTV operator noticed the three youths entering the Goyder building on Chung Wah Terrace at approximately 3:30 am. 

The CCTV operator directed a Police patrol to the youths and was able to give members a clear description of the offenders, their clothes and backpacks.

The youths were apprehended a short time later at the Oasis Shopping Centre.

It is alleged the three male youths, aged 11, 14 and 15 unlawfully entered the Coffee Break Café and stole 43 various drinks to value of $94.00. 

All property has since been returned to the café.

The youths were released into the custody of responsible adults and will be interviewed by Police and evaluated for Youth Diversion.
