Police searched the luggage of the man after he disembarked from the Darwin flight.

It is alleged the 37-year-old had 87 grams of cannabis concealed in his luggage.

Six taped packages hidden in one bottle of body wash and three talcum powder containers were found.

81 deal bags and one medium sized clip seal bag were seized.

The estimated value of the cannabis is $17,400.

The man has been charged with possession of cannabis in a trafficable quantity, and has been bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 9th June, 2011. Media Contact: Lisa Hutton
