Police can now confirm that 45-year-old Greg McNamara, who had been in hospital since Sunday 7 August, has died overnight.

This is the third death, following the crash that occurred in Berrimah at the intersection of Berrimah Road and Tiger Brennan Drive.

Both Lena Yali (43) and Kevin Taylor (57) died shortly after the crash.

Detective Senior Sergeant Debra Gabolinscy from the Major Crash Investigations Unit said that this was a tragic loss of three lives.

Investigations will continue to determine the exact cause of the crash.

This now takes the NT road toll to 23 compared to 31 for the same period last year.
