Police have arrested a 22-year-old male in relation to an unlawful entry that occurred early yesterday morning.

The alleged offender entered the property through a skylight in the ceiling at approximately 12:30 am.

Police were alerted to the incident once alarms sounded and upon attending the location, found a carton of VB and a quantity of Jim Beam cans on the roof.

Attending members conducted patrols of the area, located the man nearby with 18 packets of Tally Ho paper, also stolen from the premises.

He was taken back to the Police Station and has since been charged with:

Aggravated unlawful entry of a building with intent
Stealing
Unlawfully damage property.

He was bailed to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrate's Court on 17 February.
