Woman Assaulted - Alice Springs - Update #2

Alice Springs Detectives have now apprehended four people who were involved in the assault of a woman in Alice Springs last week.



The woman was assaulted on Memorial Drive in the early hours of last Sunday when she attempted to move a group of youths away from a party she was hosting.



A 17-year-old male youth was arrested on Wednesday, two other male youths aged 14 and 17 were taken into custody yesterday and an 18-year-old female was arrested today.



All four offenders have been charged.



The youngest has been bailed to appear in Alice Springs Court on the 8th of April, the two 17-year-olds have been remanded to appear on the 28th of February and the female appeared in court today.



The victim was airlifted to Royal Adelaide Hospital where she remains.



Members of the Southern Investigation Unit are continuing investigations.



One person of interest remains outstanding; however, police are confident they will find that person in the near future.
