A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged with drug offences following a Police raid on an Alice Springs residence.
During the search of the Smith Street property yesterday, almost 60-thousand-dollars in cash, a small amount of Cannabis and Steroids were seized.
Senior Constable Gavin Hopwood from the Drug Intelligence Unit, says it will be alleged the large amount of money was due to the proceeds of crime.
The man has been charged with Possessing a Dangerous Drug, Possessing Poison and Possessing Money and Property gained from the Proceeds of Crime.
He will appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court on April the 17th.
