Fatality - Palmerston - Update

Police

Major Crash Investigators believe a second vehicle may have been involved in a fatal rollover in Palmerston on Saturday evening.

A 42-year-old man was killed when he lost control of his vehicle about 6:30pm at the intersection of Temple Terrace and Essington Avenue in Gray.

“The car rolled and despite attempts from Officers and St Johns Ambulance members to revive him, he later died at RDH.” Said Detective Sergeant Martin Dole.

“Police are calling for witnesses who were in the area.”

“Investigators are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen a dark coloured, possibly purple, Holden Commodore station wagon in the area.”

“Investigations are continuing into the role this vehicle played in the crash, but it’s important Police speak to the driver of this vehicle.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police Assistance Line on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
