A 58-year-old man is currently in Police custody following the death of a 47-year-old man at a camp in Ti Tree.

Detective Senior Sergeant Travis Wurst of the Southern Investigations Division said the incident was reported to Police at around 6:00 pm yesterday.

“It is alleged there was a disturbance at Caravan Camp between two men aged 47 and 58,” Detective Senior Sergeant Wurst said.

“Ti Tree Health Clinic staff were called to the area and located the 47-year-old man with a single puncture wound to his chest. He was conveyed to the local clinic however died a short time later.

“Police attended the Ti Tree Clinic and the 58-year-old man was subsequently arrested.”

Investigations are continuing.
