Detectives from the Southern Investigation Division have released the description of a person who may be able to assist Police with inquiries into the suspicious death of a woman.

The body of the 42-year-old woman was found in a unit at the Mokari Flats on Nicker Crescent overnight.

“The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a crime scene was immediately secured.” Said Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Leith Phillips.

“Police are looking to speak to a man seen in the area around the time of the woman’s death.”

He’s described as Aboriginal, approximately 48-years-old, about 175cm tall and of a heavy build.

He also had medical bandaging (or similar) on his left shoulder, with the arm limp or hanging by his side.
