Two Injured in Knife Incident

Alice Springs Police were called to a domestic violence incident at the entrance to Mount Nancy Town Camp to find two people had sustained knife wounds.

Members attended at around 5.30am this morning and found a 23 year-old man had suffered a deep laceration to his leg.  A 32 year-old female had also received wounds to her leg of a less serious nature.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Leith Phillips said a 30 year-old man has been arrested in relation to the incident and an investigation is underway.

“A crime scene has been established and both victims have been taken to Alice Springs Hospital.”
