Call for information – Assaults – Northern suburbs

Police

Strike Force Trident are seeking the whereabouts of a male who is believed to have been involved in multiple alleged assaults across the northern suburbs yesterday afternoon.

Police believe the male punched a woman to the face at a Casuarina business around 3:30pm. From this location, the youth made his way towards Coles at Casuarina Village where he caused damage to property prior to slapping a baby on the head and aggressively pushing a trolley towards another woman. Both of the women in these incidents are yet to be identified. Police strongly encourage these women to come forward.

The youth then walked towards Casuarina Bus Exchange where he picked up signage and hit a taxi which was parked outside Red Cross on Scaturchio Street. The driver then left the scene.

The youth continued walking through Casuarina Bus Exchange where he indecently assaulted a number of unidentified females. Upon entering Casuarina Shopping Centre, the male continued to indecently assault other women. This was captured on CCTV. Some of the victims have come forward however others are yet to contact police. Police strongly encourage these women to come forward.

CCTV footage captured the male attempting to indecently assault a female who was walking with a young baby in a pram at Karama Shopping Centre around 5:17pm. The male was chased from the scene by security and the incident was reported to police.

Around 6:00pm, the youth armed himself with a pole and caused a disturbance at Spathe Court, Karama, prior to attending his residence at Muirhead at 8:00pm. While at Muirhead, he allegedly assaulted a person known to him and caused extensive damage to his residence.
