Call for information – Stealing – Darwin

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to three separate stealing incidents at the Darwin Waterfront.

Three victims had property stolen after their bags were left unattended when the victims were swimming or playing sport. The incidents occurred at 3:40pm on 21 July, 10:50am on 31 August, and 12:25pm on 12 October.

Police have identified a person of interest using CCTV. Anyone who recognises the man is urged to contact police on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.  Please quote reference number 9103418.

Police remind the public to be vigilant about property security. Do not leave your valuables unattended at any time and be aware of your surroundings. The Darwin Waterfront Corporation has zero tolerance for inappropriate or anti-social behaviour and maintains a 24/7 security presence. Additionally, CCTV is placed throughout the precinct to monitor for suspicious people and activity.
