Call for witnesses – Assault – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged assault which occurred at a Braitling residence around 5:30pm on Saturday 17 August.

A woman was seriously assaulted at her residence in the Braitling area by an unknown intruder. The woman fought the male and he ran from the area as neighbours came to her assistance.

The male is described as dark-skinned with curly hair, aged 25-35 years old with a solid build. He was described as wearing a light coloured t-shirt and dark long shorts or pants.

Anyone who saw a male fitting this description around this time is asked to notify police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.  Police ask residents in the area with CCTV or those driving through the area with dash cameras, particularly in the vicinity of Rotaract Park which runs between Madigan Street and Angguna Avenue, to review their footage and notify police.
