One year anniversary of disappearance of Alex Rosenberg

Northern Territory Police continue to investigate the disappearance of Alex Rosenberg who was reported missing last year.

19 August 2019 marked one year since Mr Rosenberg was last seen. He arrived at Edith Falls campground and completed a walk on the Leliyn Track (Edith Falls Loop Track) to the top rock pools of Edith Falls on Saturday 18 August 2018. He was last seen on the Leliyn Track around 10:30am on Sunday 19 August 2018. He appeared to be returning from the direction of Sweetwater Pool. Police conducted extensive land and underwater searches however were unable to locate Mr Rosenberg.

Mr Rosenberg, who would now be is 68-years-old, is described as just under six-foot tall with fair complexion, grey hair, and of lean to medium build. It is believed he may have been wearing a khaki shirt, black/khaki hat, black shorts, and Salomon hiking boots. He also had a small black or blue day pack or Camelbak and a walking pole. It is believed he had a Samsung Edge mobile phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet in his possession.

It is requested that if members of the public find any of the above items of interest in the Edith Falls area that appear to be lost or discarded in the bush or along walking tracks to note the location and call Crime Stoppers.

Mr Rosenberg was travelling in a caravan which was located at Edith Falls with personal belongings still inside. Anyone who sighted the caravan in the vicinity around the time or Mr Rosenberg’s disappearance is asked to come forward.
