Bushfire – Advice – Humpty Doo

The WATCH AND ACT for parts of Humpty Doo have been downgraded to ADVICE.

LOCATION: Doxas Road, Devine Road, Lockerley Court, Havlik Road.

ALERT LEVEL: Advice. A fire has started in the area. There is no immediate danger. Monitor the situation for changes.

FIRE TYPE: Bushfire.

STATUS: Under control. Effective strategies are in operation or planned for the entire perimeter.

CURRENT SITUATION:  Firefighting crews are currently undertaking fire break operations. Back burning operations will occur as conditions ease. Aerial operations have ceased at this time. 

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility. Active fire may occur close to the roadside. Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: For the safety of firefighting crews and other vehicles, drivers in the area are urged to slow down, turn on headlights and drive safely for the conditions. If a fire is threatening life or property, call 000 immediately.
