Northern Territory Police are calling for information about an alleged assault that occurred in Tennant Creek on 5 February 2020.

Police are investigating an incident that occurred at approximately 9pm, where an adult male was allegedly assaulted by a group of males while walking home on Haddock Street.

The identities of the male offenders are currently unknown.

Senior Constable Ryan Thornton from the Tennant Creek Investigations Unit said “We would like to reassure the public that this appears to be an isolated incident but, encourage members of the public to be vigilant when walking on the street after dark”.
