Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an alleged stealing that occurred on Sunday 15 March 2020.

At 8:40pm, the 26-year-old male victim was sitting near the church in the Todd Mall with his 26-year-old partner. 

Two male youth approached the couple and allegedly snatched the handbag from the victim’s partner before fleeing the scene.

The 26-year-old male victim allegedly chased the offender before being hit in the head by a rock thrown by one of the youth. The victim suffered a laceration to his face and was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for medical treatment.

The bag is described as black-and-white with stripes.
