Strike Force Trident Detectives are investigating an alleged aggravated robbery which occurred at approximately 1pm on Tuesday, 28 January 2020 at a service station located in Coconut Grove.

Police allege two male youths, both aged 15, entered the service station and attempted to steal items from within the store. Upon exiting the store the youths were stopped by the shop attendant and as a result the shop attendant was assaulted, sustaining minor injuries.

Both youths rode off on pushbikes and were apprehended a short time later by police. They have been charged with aggravated robbery and will attend Darwin Youth Court at a later date.
