Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following an alleged assault on a 17-year-old girl in Malak on Tuesday 16 June 2020.  

At around 6:20am, the girl was near a bus stop on Chambers Crescent in Malak when she was approached by a male and assaulted.

The offender is described as being 170cm tall, Aboriginal male in his 20s, lean build with broad shoulders and dark curly hair tied in a ponytail. He was wearing black shorts with a white stripe down the side, he was not wearing a shirt or shoes at the time the assault occurred.

Police believe that the offender is also involved in a separate alleged assault matter that occurred at around 6:50am on the same morning in Holzerland Park, Malak.
