Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged robbery which occurred at Northlakes Shopping Centre around 12:30pm today.

Police believe an 18-year-old male approached an 82-year-old female and attempted to take her bag. As a result, a struggle ensued and the victim was pushed to the ground. The alleged offender was held by a member of the public until police arrived and made an arrest. He was conveyed to Darwin Watch House and is expected to be charged later today.
