Northern Territory Police and emergency services attended the intersection of Tiger Brennan Drive and Stoddart Drive shortly after 7:30am today, where a cyclist and vehicle had collided.

The 15-year-old male cyclist was taken to hospital by St John Ambulance in a critical condition.

The 67-year-old female driver stopped at the scene and has assisted police with enquiries.  Detectives from the Major Crash Investigation Unit seized the vehicle and bicycle for further examination as part of the investigation.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said, “We are appealing to anyone who saw the crash to contact police.  Anyone who was travelling in the area with dash cam footage is also asked to assist by contacting 131 444 and quote reference number 9459659”.
