The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services College is proud to announce the graduation of Aboriginal Community Police Officer (ACPO) Recruit Squad 26.

On Friday 29 May 2020, 12 ACPOs will graduate after finishing their 24 week training program, which commenced in December 2019. Following their graduation they will be posted to Katherine, Tennant Creek, Nhulunbuy and Groote Eylandt.

Commissioner Jamie Chalker APM said the support and assistance provided by Aboriginal Community Police Officers is vital to our local Indigenous communities.

“They have the opportunity to be great role models and mentors and provide another level of community engagement that builds the relationship between the community and police.”

The graduation will be live streamed on the NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services Facebook page from 5:00pm.
