Patrol Dogs’ assist apprehension – Muirhead

Northern Territory Police Patrol Dogs have assisted to apprehend a 16-year-old female following an incident in Muirhead yesterday.

Shortly after 9:00am, police responded to a report of a person allegedly armed with a knife walking up and down a street in Muirhead. Upon arrival, police located the female and immediately began negotiations to recover the knife she was holding.

Police Patrol Dogs’, Drax and Quake, were deployed and challenged the female who instantly dropped the knife. Officers then apprehended her without incident.

The 16-year-old female was transported to her place of care.
