**Media release has been corrected since initial release**

Northern Territory Police have charged a man in relation to an aggravated assault in Palmerston on Monday 21 June 2021. 

Between the hours of 8pm and 9pm, a 28-year-old male has allegedly assaulted his pregnant 27-year-old partner near Roystonea Avenue.

Police from the Domestic and Family Violence section arrested the man yesterday and later charged him with:

1 x Breach a domestic violence order

1 x Aggravated assault

1 x Act with intent to cause serious harm

He was remanded to face Darwin Local court today.
